Hi all, my name is Jai and I am the Director of CareSpace.

My journey towards becoming Director started many years ago when I was given the opportunity to Coach the Geelong Dragons, our very own Geelong Based All Abilities AFL team. That experience changed my life. I went on to meet and marry Kirra, who has the most passion and experience of anyone in the Disability Sector.

Our aim in creating CareSpace was to build a Company that we would feel safe and secure in sending our Son Joshua, who has Down Syndrome and Autism to. We built CareSpace with a view to provide a Participant Focused, vibrant and active Space for our Carers and Participants to feel welcomed, encouraged and most importantly supported to achieve their NDIS Goals.

My background as a Police Officer, Victorian Government Investigator and Anti-Corruption Investigator has given me the knowledge and tools to create a robust, compliant system to allow CareSpace to Operate as a Fully Registered NDIS Company. We pride ourselves on our perfect audit record. This is all done with a view to protect the rights and safety of our Participants, their families and our Carers.

I am very proud of how CareSpace has grown and how highly regarded we are within this Industry. My Team of highly qualified Managers, Coordinators, Nurses and Support Workers play a huge role in shaping our great Culture and guiding the Direction of CareSpace moving forward.

I believe our main point of difference to many similar Companies is not only do we love taking participants into the Community and running quality programs and supporting Participants to achieve their NDIS goals, we have built a highly qualified and dedicated team of Nurses and experienced Support workers to care of our Complex and High Intensity participants. Our staff are Trauma informed and understand the difficulties and complexities relating to such situations.

Personally, I still love getting out and Caring, attending group programs and camps and meeting with Participants and families. Outside of work, I am kept busy with Kirra and our 5 children. I love keeping fit, surfing and coaching AFL down at St Joeys.

I look forward to meeting you soon.
